[words and photograph © Narina Exelby]

/ You don’t need expensive equipment to create beautiful images.

/ Choose your perspective carefully. It will influence the way you see the world.

/ There is beauty in everything. If you can’t see it, move from where you stand.

/ Everybody sees a different picture.

/ Be patient.

/ Be impulsive.

/ Every photograph tells a story. You create that story, so compose it carefully.

/ It is often the grittiest subjects – not the most beautiful – that make interesting photographs.

/ To get a clearer picture, you might need to change your perspective.

/ Never forget to look up.

/ And always remember to look down.

/ You’re often so busy trying to capture the moment, you forget to live it. Put your camera away sometimes. The memories you create will be with you forever.
