This photo was taken in Yemen in the old walled city of Shibam – a Unesco World Heritage Site – one of the most amazing places I’ve seen. I’d been wondering around and just before sunset I noticed warm sun rays shining through sand flying in the air. I only needed suitable point of interest to make this photo work; luckily I didn’t have to wait long for this man to appear.
No filter was used on this shot and those warm deep colors are created by a sun that was just about to go down.
